so these run .5 big? :x
For sure, slightly narrow but length is definitely a half size long on 998s.

I'll have to try on my 8.5 coming my way but if they're too small I wouldn't mind swappingdang. got the mints in sz 9 (usually what I wear it's a little roomy) but if this is .5 size bigger...hahaha anyone down to trade my sz 9 for a 8-8.5?? worth a shot kk
i used to do the stuffing and or the plastic bags, but sometimes they look over stuffed, the shoe trees from ikea work better than that stuff, although theyre def not the best, but for $1 im not complainingDo you notice a significant improvement in keeping a shoe's shape with those as compared to just stuffing them? I just stuff my pairs with plastic shopping bags right now, but I have some more valuable pairs those might be worth picking up for.
Ok thanks. I didn't realize they were that cheap. I'll definitely get a few for my better pairs.i used to do the stuffing and or the plastic bags, but sometimes they look over stuffed, the shoe trees from ikea work better than that stuff, although theyre def not the best, but for $1 im not complaining
Congrats to those who scored C-notes, Mints and Hyprcats. Sorry, to those of you who tried and struck out.
Good news although, there is a great batch of GR's available right now, the Tea Pack, USA 576's, the Renegades and a couple of great Made in Englands (1500s -those Magentos! -and the Rain Macs).
All of these are available right now and for a good price if you know where to look.
There are even more great GR's right around the corner. These are the ones I can't wait to get my hands on! Which ones are you looking forward to grabbing?
I would do it only because you could get another pair of C-notes for less money than a pair of Steel Blues. Quality is good on my Steel Blues. Can't speak for anyone one else.would you trade c-notes for vvnds steel blue 999s? I'm inclined to say yes. can anyone speak to the 999s quality
yes do that trade. trust mewould you trade c-notes for vvnds steel blue 999s? I'm inclined to say yes. can anyone speak to the 999s quality
Those red devil customs are REAL nice, i think i remember seeing them when you first got them. Well done.

the 998 is made for a high mileage, heavy runner shoe.. the 999 is more of an all-terrain shoe.. the 999 is well built, alot more sturdier than the 998 in my opinion. the 999 holds a better shape through wears. I love the sole pattern on the 999. As far as the 998's, nothing can top the mid-sole.would you trade c-notes for vvnds steel blue 999s? I'm inclined to say yes. can anyone speak to the 999s quality
