Could there be import tax/customs fees though, after shipping cost?  Is it anything over $250 that gets hit with fees?  Cannot remember...

Yes there can be. I got charged with customs fees on an item ($220 shipped Lebron X Denim from Crooked Tongues, customs fee $24) that was less than $250.

I went with the same size for both, HYPRCAT's are a little roomier.
