That's the exact same thing my friend said. He grabbed the 2016 pair and said he regrets every dime he spent on them because they were terrible.

Called Champs in Novi MI. They had them. Was happy to get these early. Griffey is one of my all time favorites. And these are beautiful.

I just pulled my 09s out no paint chipping anything look brand new & I wore those more than my other Grrifeys. But my Cincy, Emeralds & Volts paint chipping is bad
