That's not crazy at all man, imo doing the opposite would be crazy. I have some vaca time saved up too - but the hassle of calling off, having to catch up later and actually sitting all those days is just something I can't do.

yep. raffles are the true equalizer. of course, assuming you believe they aren't...rigged lol.
deep down i really do think these may be more available than expected. if not, i still feel there is a ceiling for ebay resell prices. an average consumer is not dropping $5k+. you'll have a few people but after about a month prices will likely fall to around $2-3k.

To my knowledge, Niketowns raffled out spots during working hours for the Lebron MVs....sooooo....

That's not how these spots are doing raffles now. You pick up the ticket during their regular store hours during the week (most of which stay open late) and then they will call the winners to pick up the shoes at their leisure on Saturday.... soooooo....

Niketowns do the Twitter RSVP thing. So you should be able to have a chance even if you're at work - you just need to have access to a computer or phone to keep track of it.

i have no basis for this, but could be that nikes releasin a lot of pairs to the benefit of the boutiques.

ex most of these raffles got kids spendin mad $ on the store's merch to get raffle tix to get a pair. and sounds like stores r gettin more than they expected. nice boost in store merch sales cuz the yeezys could be like a perk to stores from nike for stores bein loyalists/accounts. just a thought

lets face it, nike doesnt care about our feelings or opinions, but they for sure depend on boutiques and retailers for their continued success.

I've been watching the different Nike feeds over the past few weeks.

They usually announce a date when the RSVP will open, but it could be at any time that day.

Then they send out a tweet that the RSVP has opened along with the #hashtag that you need to include in your DM to the store.

Finally they send out a tweet saying the RSVP has closed and that the winners have been notified. This usually comes 10-15 minutes later.

For example, yesterday (Monday) they sent out a notification saying RSVP for the Military 4's will open sometime on 6/7 (Thursday), which is 2 days before release (Saturday). Of course, they probably haven't received their Yeezy 2's yet, so the process might be more sudden.
