Lady Luck came back from the far east with a pair for me & a pair for baby bro. She chose to eat at Cheesecake Factory for her reward. That place has waaaay too many options btw. Went with the orange chicken in honor of the Fireworks.

Are some of y'all seriously comparing PDFs and Ying Yangs on the VIIs to Homes/Inlines/Amnesties? The PDFs & Ying Yangs were both horribly executed/color-blocked, period. The issue wasn't even the colors. The PDF upper design was just flat out garbage in any color, and how many dudes are seriously gonna want to wear completely mismatching shoes, in any colors?

It's not about the "8s are better than 7s" statement as much as it is about the fact that Nike is hesitating to release any Lakers colorways due to the public's previous reactions about Lakers themed shoes. I'm not just referring to the Yin Yangs. We can go all the way back to the Away Vs, which actually ended up hitting outlets. How about the Imperial Purple VIs? Those sat pretty long too. Same thing happened to the VII Homes, which I remember someone saying that they copped at a FTL for $39.99. Last but not least, the university gold VIIs. They sat forever online until the price dropped to $109.99.
Also, was that last sentence directed at me? Because I certainly don't know what a "groupie" is and how your post is any more constructive than mine. ("Zzzz I'm sleep doe?" What was that all about?) All I'm trying to say is, people have to view this situation from Nike's perspective and understand why they're only keeping these Lakers colorways PEs.

Yeah the mismatched upper on the VII was terrible but gotta give it to them for pushing the envelop along with the WTK. Let's hope they keep it out the 8, knowing the love of the 8, if Nike did that again they would get a pass and they would be the greatest colorway to date.
