***Official Political Discussion Thread***

A glorious day today. In the meantime, wrote an article on 10 photos that sum up the Trump Presidency.

If you have a chance, take a second to read, thanks!

Discontinuing the support and acknowledging the mistake is not accountability?
That depends. Is “I stopped scamming people weeks ago and acknowledged my mistake shortly after my arrest” a sufficient demonstration of “accountability” for fraud?

But a black guy that supported President Obama twice. And then supported President Trump twice. And then supported the Dems flipping the Senate should certainly not be compared to a Nazi and/or a Klansmember, respectfully. If I raided the capitol, or something, then the comparison would make more sense.
Allegedly.

For all anyone here knows, that could be an evasive way of saying that you weren’t even registered to vote until 2012 or 2015 and voted for Donald Trump more than you voted for Barack Obama - if indeed you even voted for President Obama at all.

If “support” isn’t “voting,” then let’s talk about what it actually, visibly, consists of. The “support” we’ve seen from you, day in and day out for YEARS on our forums has been vocal support in defense of Donald Trump - not Barack Obama, not social justice, and with little save for cynical lip service reserved for criminal justice reform, summoned primarily in defense of Trump and his White Supremacist adherents like Roy Moore.

You don’t like the analogy? Tell me, then:

Did you support Trump after this?

Did you support him after this?

And did you support him after this?

And this?

And this?

And ALL of this?

Then spare me the pearl clutching.

If you spend years of your life defending the champion of literal Nazis and Klansmen, you’re going to be judged by the company you’ve kept.

You’re right. It’s all alleged. For all anyone on here knows I could have voted for Hillary and for President-elect Biden. And I could have voted for President Obama twice and never voted for Trump. These are all hypotheticals, that as you correctly acknowledge, the posters on here don’t know. I stated who I’ve supported and people can believe whatever they want.

But I don’t have any duty to disclose my votes.

I supported President Trump after all of the things you posted. But I did not support those actions. As I stated at the time, you can support a candidate despite disagreeing with many of their views. That said, I also acknowledged the mistake and stopped supporting him after all of that as well.

I don’t mind anyone dwelling on my past support for a tremendously flawed candidate. Hopefully it achieves whatever is intended.

But I plan to focus on other issues. And I look forward to the upcoming administration.

I really don’t want a dialogue about my past support to take away from this historic day in this thread. So I’ll leave it here.
