yea child credit. Up to 300 per child per family per month. There was phase outs starting at 140k and fully phased out at 400k

I believe you would only pay some of it back if they used a previous tax filing to approve your eligibility and if your 2021 filing pushed you past the threshold you would pay back the difference (you can opt out of the advance payments)

If your income never changed or lowered to stay under the threshold then no you don't pay anything back
