Her first statement after getting out was to double down on what she was convicted of. All so Colorado could get some federal funds released.

That’s how it goes, they try to gas light you like you’re in more pain than you are or need seroquil (sp) too in my case because I’m bored, not tweaking or anything just bored.

They want you to feel nothing in there, and you weren’t even in pain so there’s no excuse for that.

They could have opened up a whole new addiction or started up an old one again to the wrong person. They don’t know

You have think Maine an older state, Platner is going to need older female Democrats who voted for Susan Collins to back him.

Seems to me like these are the exact type of women who watch The View and care what these women think.

Centrist Democrats, never Trumpers, and neoliberals wanted someone who is not “woke” and can appeal to the men who voted for Trump.

Obviously they meant a Democrat who is pro Israel, pro Oligarchs, and pro war.

Be careful what you wish for.

Also, I had to check who posted this video. I wasn’t sure if it was the GOP or Hasan Piker.

The hueristic a lot of voters use in 2026, is “does this candidate piss off the people that I hate” and the hosts of the view and their ideological composition are despised among both the marginal Trump voters and young/male nonvoters whom Platner needs to activate.

I’d be surprised if this clip does not make the rounds on left media.

BTW I’m not celebrating any of this.

This large but somewhat unwieldily coalition needs to be disciplined and “vote blue no matter who” must flow in both directions.

Being concerned about sexism and racism while endorsing Susan Collins is the same species of stupidity as the pro Palestine voters who refused to vote for Harris.

Lockheed liberals need to respect the outcome of Democratic primaries just the same as DSA bros need to.

High threshold for pain or the “walk it off” mentality could get you in trouble though

Had some shh pop up recently and the doctor was like I shoulda BEEN seen someone.. and he was like men have that tendency to say we need to tough out the shh instead of getting it checked

Was a relatively small thing but it coulda been bad bad if I just kept ignoring it or thinking it wasn’t actually something

I totally get what you are saying, but when I say I have a high tolerance, I mean for when I'm in the hospital and have had some procedure done, where they ask if I need anything for pain (which is usually giving me a morphine pump, which isn't bad, vs pills), vs say sprained my ankle or messed my back up. I won't deny using the pump in when I had the abdominal drains yanked out from my removal of my entire large intestine (that hurt like a MF! So much that I told the docs who pulled to leave me alone for the next several hours).

I will always go to my home hospital ER in Philly, if I don't feel right or feel "off". Kinda have to being a transplant patient and all the other hospitals not named Penn, won't actually treat me, due to liability concerns. Same as what happened when I was in Toronto back in 2011. Bowel obstruction and needed surgery in less than a week. Mississauga hospital wouldn't do anything more than give me pain meds until I could get home to have surgery at "my" hospital.

Thank goodness for the Air Ambulance. And for my insurance back then, paying for the entire thing. Cessna Citation V turned into an air ambulance. What an interesting experience.

Yeah I hope this is a isolated case, or that he goes on there and makes a case for himself

But dude needs to appeal to older women that vote blue except for Collins. And he seems like the type of dude that might turn them off. Hope I am wrong.

On the funny note. Someone let me know that apparently white leftist and that FD. Signifier dude is beefing over Platner. FD said what white leftist just love Platner because he is white and white leftist love their white socialist saviors, not because of Gaza. One of my best friends had surgery back in, like, 2011, which was the height of the opioid crisis. This is Seattle, so the pill mills weren't as prevalent as other areas of the country. But, he was prescribed Oxy. He gave me ten pills. I took one, and drank a bottle of wine that night. I flushed the rest down the toilet. Even I knew that was going to be a bad time in the long run. When I was in rehab in 2024, my roommate was one of those who got caught up in the pill mills in Florida. It ruined his life. It was wild.

Not surprising at all.

A good friend of mine is a pharmacist in california and told me a story about how one day probably around 2013-2014 when the DEA and FDA came in and scooped up tons of records about one doctor in their area.

Turns out they keep very meticulous records and this doctor was in the top 10 in the nation in volume of oxy's prescribed.

The rest of the top 10 were all in Florida.
