The more I watch Trumps debate and speeches the more I understand why he won.
Extremist viewpoint of an argument just to prove my point that you have once again proven you have no idea what you are talking about. Good job Ninja you continue to keep outdoing yourselfu mean 3rd wave free flowing crowd men hating triggered snowflakes that do things like..
You guys see Trump appoint all his kids, they were supposed to run his companies in a blind trust. Forget the racism and all of that, people just let a certified crook get the keys to the country, he's going to be using the taxpayers to pay back Putin what he owes
Explain?
Has any conservative come up with a better plan than the ACA? Isn't it based more on conservative ideologies than liberal ones? And isn't that why democrats are pretty lukewarm on it?
After the Trump fiasco, I realize that there's still a lot I have to learn. I have a firm grasp on education as that is what I mostly studied in college, but things such as economy, energy, tax & health policy I only have a superficial understanding of.
Thanks to those providing info
The ACA was something that both deomocrats and republicans could get behind maybe not everyone would hop on it but it would have put us on the road to universal health care for all people imo. Hell republicans before Obamacare got into office would haven't have had the problems with it like they do now and support it. But instead they didn't want anything to do with it when Obama proposed it. He even asked congress to help him work on it and give their own opinions but they just wanted to repeal the whole thing. And for Obama to even get it passed he had to make many concessions on it which is why it has problems now.Has any conservative come up with a better plan than the ACA? Another classic dictator move.
Next on the menu:
award the biggest construction and mining contracts with companies he's in cahoots with.
Use the FBI as his personal army against would-be dissenters. Heck, he might even declare martial law and cancel any forthcoming elections, effectively ending democracy in this country.
When he's driven all the foreign intelligentsia out of the country because they can no longer bring in their families, his goons will focus on journalists and academics, and he will either jail them or make them sing his praises.
With his current anti-immigration stance, the level of enrollment in US universities (a major source of straight cash for college) from international students, who will prefer more welcoming shores to spend their education monies. Meanwhile, tuition will be as high as ever, wise Americans will travel abroad to get educated and settle there (innovation killing brain drain), and the dumb ones will borrow money they can't reimburse because all the manufacturing jobs will pay $25/day (because competition).
Speaking of international visitors, the Chinese and Arabs will sell off their expensive homes all at once to exit intolerant Trump SA and crash the real estate market and tourism will suffer as more foreign people get subjected to law and order and non-stop immigration checks (police harrassment).
Y'all done ****** up.

Being ghetto is not the problem, being stereotypical is. I am from the Pink Houses in Brooklyn. If ninjahood is ghetto, he knows what time it is. However, being intellectually stereotypical is a huge problem, but don't tell him that.Dude sounds mad ghetto.

Yeah I've covered this before, but the genesis of Obamacare is def center right conservative in nature.
a version of this was pitched as a response to Hilarycare in the 90's I believe.
The conservative underpinngs of the law. (using market forces, individual mandates and subsidies to keep prices low and coverage wife )
IMO is the prime reason why they haven't come up with an alternative, because the best criticisms of the law come from the left.
The best arguments against Obamacare imo are
a) Why?
Why not just have single payer, why erect this Frankenstein system and hope and pray market forces keep the prices low, when the government could just become the insurance provider and set the prices.
b) Why didn't you go far enough,.
If you are going to use this system, you need a way stronger individual mandate to force people to get insurance, or you need public option to put price pressure on insurance providers. Ideally both.
These are left wing arguments, so republicans can't make them.
Obamacare is as right as it is because the best left parts of it were cut. The right and the industry already killed the public option, and starved non-profit co-ops.
And even then, the OG ACA is something no conservative would have suggested even in the times of Hillarycare. The most liberal Republicans in the Senate would still want to se the plan more right, and the public option would be laughed out the room.
Even so, the biggest accomplishments of the ACA are the preexisting conditions regulations, and extending Medicaid. This would signal which direction the pendulum should swing to make the law better.

Yikes...
To be fair, CIA and FBI have always been shady and corrupt regardless of who has been president or who ran those agencies
Agreed 100% but bringing back the same national security establishment from the Bush 2.0 years runs opposite of his rhetoric

True. I mean everything he's doing right now is 100% establishment. No wonder why all those Republicans were kissing his @#$ when it got closer to the election Too bad his supporters are too damn dumb to see this
If Bernie won it all would he turn establishment?

Bernie been spitting hot fire in congress for decades. He might go with establishment candidates only if it helped advance his platform. Not like the puppet Trump is turning out to be.
