the pro-Trump influence of the NYPD is insane bruh. I have a friend who's mixed race and didn't really mess with politics too much. We had a mutual friend who messed with Trump bc he was the "less evil" of the options last election and he would get made fun of for his Trump support by non political friend.


Non political friend joins the NYPD a year after Trump was elected and by this election he's 100% MAGA and saying "the left does this, the left does that" etc. It's pathetic. The NYPD really is a cult.

while being a trial lawyer/litigator isn't a legal prerequisite to being a supreme court justice, she seems to be the epitome of privilege.

after lawschool:
1997-1998 - clerk on DC Court of Appeals
1998-1999 - clerk to scalia on SCOTUS
1999-2002 - big law associate at baker botts
2002-2017 professor at Notre Dame, visiting professor at other universities
2017-2020 judge on 7th court of appeals
2020 - appointed as supreme court justice for a lifetime

no real substantive experience practicing law. never served as a judge at the state level, never served as a district court judge at the federal level, not even a magistrate judge at the federal level, was never an AG, never an assistant AG, and is now fast tracked to the supreme court. she really might be the least qualified justice on the entire supreme court.

also add in the hypocrisy from the right who claims to strongly dislike academia but is now appointing a career academic to the highest court in the land because she shares their philosophical views. the damage the right has done to our democratic institutions for the sake of keeping power is irreparable.
