The most insane part of having normalcy back in the White House is that there's still roughly 50% of the country that's like "STOP FEEDING US LIES FAUCI. YOURE A SOCIALIST. BIDEN WANTS TO KEEP US LOCKED INSIDE WITH A MASK ON TO KILL OUR ECONERMY. WE NEED TRUMP BACK TO RUN THE COUNTRY PROPERLY"

My personal conclusion is that the best way to get your average Fox News viewer type to possibly change their minds is actually craft a society that is noticeably improved. Which means you can’t half *** your policies in the name of compromise.

You’re not going to win these people over with facts and arguments. They’re not going to stop consuming their outrage porn news and conspiracies. And some of them no matter what are too far gone. But the ones that can be saved need to see and feel something, namely the benefits of significantly unrigging the game. Then you can start building class solidarity and these people will be more resilient to the divisive propaganda of the rich.

I think regaining faith in institutions would also help combat the wave of anti-intellectualism. These people don’t trust the consensus of universities, academics, and experts and turn to “alternative” sources.

While he might have gotten roughly 50% of the vote, I think the number is appreciably lower than that. There are a fair amount of people who know that talk is BS but they just want their tax cuts and someone who will keep things open. IMO it's the the distinction between the GOP voters who vote against their best interests (the poor and uneducated) and the GOP voters who vote solely in favor of their own self interests (the wealthy and educated). The former foolishly allow themselves to get brainwashed by that rhetoric in order to justify their vote to themselves. The latter don't give a damn about about any rhetoric and only vote to benefit themselves.

I remember @BIG LEEMELONE pointing out all the presidents are related and calling voting ineffective but I don't remember him saying anything about an insurrection

Might be more than one person on your mind that you turned into one person
Nah it was him.

But in fairness, I checked, he didn't say there should be an insurrection. He just said voting is futile to get Trump out. And when I called out that he was suggesting a coup (which was the incorrect term on my part) he tacit agreed to that being more productive than voting

Famb had some bangers in here lecturing folk before he was banned....

There's no way Trump wins 2020 is the new there's no way Trump wins 2016

He's really gonna get re-elected. Lol.

You're a very intelligent guy. It might not always seem like it but I have a lot of respect for you. With that said, you're too smart to be this dumb. You really think there's a chance in hell that he's not re-elected? You really think this is a democracy we live in?

What I'm trying to say is that it's not a matter of chance and the democracy is not broken. It's working exactly as it's designed to. If your intention is to create a positive outcome, you're wasting your time and money getting people registered. There's only one outcome and even if there wasn't it still wouldn't matter which party won, the people would still lose like we always do. There's no such thing as voting. There is no choice.

RustyShackleford RustyShackleford you're not understanding what I'm trying to say. It's not about being pessimistic or giving up. This is not a democracy and never has been. Period. That has been made abundantly clear. You don't overthrow a dictatorship at the ballot box.

You keep talking about conspiracy. All I'm trying to do is point out facts but you want to dismiss them because of your own closed mind and confirmation bias. Ask yourself how you could've been so wrong about Trump getting elected in the first place. That's not to attack you, that's asking you to do some genuine self reflection and see where you went wrong

Right, you were overconfident last time and you're being overconfident again. That's all I'm saying. I pointed out how all the presidents are related and you just dismiss it as a coincidence. A government supposedly by the people and for the people yet every single president has royal blood that can be traced back to one man. That's a coincidence?

I've watched two elections get stolen in my lifetime. Two guys who never should've been president are getting ready to each serve two terms because they made secret plans with a group of others to influence the election, which is the literal definition of 'conspiracy'. Instead of blindly using that word incorrectly why not think critically and look at it objectively

And got away with it scot free. With no indication that he can't get away with it again, in addition to all the other blatant crimes he committed while in office. Let's vote more. Even tho he lost the popular vote in the first place.

Do we really need to wait until November to figure out how this is gonna end? Everybody can see where this is headed. I know yall aren't stupid. What the **** is the point of having this technology that connects all of us from around the world if all we do is sit around and make dumbass jokes about how ****ed up the world is. There's honestly nothing to laugh about.

THEY (🌹) are about to turn up 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️. I can’t STAND it

I need to quote this again because I didn't see the second tweet was added.

So Bernie not becoming president is the equivalent of MLK getting assassinated. LAWDDDDD

Red Rose Twitter and the Leftist media outlets are already framing the next few years as a fight against Biden. Should be fun times
