I hope that Platner wins and that this is the last issue that we have with him. No purity tests for him from me. My only hope is that the polling that leftists love to point to when it comes to him actually results in votes. Susan is very difficult to beat and candidly she should’ve lost last time but the polls were wrong even though she was up against a solid candidate. What’s crazy is that Platner’s views about women and minorities might actually be the combination to defeat Susan, which is crazy. A straight white man that plays the every man role, was in the military and talks like a regular Joe (bigotry included) is something Susan has never had to face before. Platner could potentially flip those rural voters that don’t like Collins but want someone that they believe is a safe Dem that talks just like them. I hope this calculation is correct.
