English bully's can have a lot of health issues... Hips, breathing, skin etc...

I have a Boxer which is in the "bulldog family" but I've always wanted a bully.

English bully's can have a lot of health issues... Hips, breathing, skin etc...

I have a Boxer which is in the "bulldog family" but I've always wanted a bully.

Yes English, doesn't need to be rescued per say but it may. The owners are moving and can't bring her. Out of the kindness of my heart I was going to just take her in but wasn't sure what issues bulldogs come with.

It's either I take her or she's going to a shelter

OP it sounds like you made this post without doing much of your own research but you had an honest interest in possibly getting this puppy. Just reach out to the members that provided useful information here and really think about this decision. Make a list of pros and cons, factor in the financial side of things (can you afford food, toys, medical expenses, training, daycare, etc...) and if YOU feel you can take care of it (do you have time to feed it, walk it, play with it everyday?) and want a dog in this point of your life then go for it. When are the neighbors moving? You should think about this for at least a week or two if possible. Good luck on your decision. I prefer the French bulldogs but cute puppy for sure. Also remember it's not going to be that cute looking puppy forever...

I've done research but I was looking for first hand experience and testimonials. Behavior wise and what not the stats do t really do it justice.

Do I want to "rescue" it? Absolutely. I also don't want to dig myself a hole money wise doing so. That's where the dilemma lies
