Does anyone know if this would damage the shoes in any way, possibly by drying the midsole or decreasing its' flexibility and thus making it crumble?

Any insight would be much appreciated.

i'd help but im not familiar with "Clear Coat"

Ok everyone. Im trying to restore the color to the suede/ nubuck on these Vasque boots I. It was red but when I went to clean them the front faded. I haventworn them in over a year but thought let me ask NikeTalk experts if they have any ways to restore the color. It doesnt look as bad in pics but you can see thefront toe of the red is white-#@+/orange faded now when it was bright red. Any help yall??

what household cleaners would be good on the mesh tongues of the columbia XIs? i dont have any barkeepers friend around and im planning on flipping this pairas they are a 12.5 and i wear a 10, but i want to clean em first. i can go get barkeeper's friend but would like to keep costs down.

Best way to keep them icy.... DONT WEAR THEM. and store them in your box in a closet where temp. wont rise and drop a lot.

yeah sole savers work. i seen them in use back then when they were proto-types. it'll help a lot. But like i said just store them in your box in a closetwhere temp. wont rise and drop a lot.

possibly. cant really say anything until pictures are shown.

If I deadstock some icysole shoes (ex. Space Jams, Jordan 6) with armorall protectant on them will it be bad lets say 4-5 years from now (good or bad longtermeffects) ? And how do I prevent creases in a Jordan 6 can I just cut the shoetree (the ones that came with it) to size of the toebox?

if you deadstock some icysoles shoes..........? LULZ wut? I have no clue what you're saying.

And you cant prevent creasings. creasing is inevitable.
You can cut it, but it wont be comfortable. and not really effective.

^ Clear see through sole, ( ex.spacejams) on page one he said you can put some armorall protectant on the clear sole to prevent yellowing but if I apply theprotectant beforehand and deadstock the shoes for a couple years, would it cause harm or benefit me?

I know what icy soles are. But you said "If I deadstock some icysole shoes" that makes no sense whatsoever.

But honestly imo. i think spraying armorall would do no help at all. but thats just me.

^ Ok but you do get what im saying right? lol, Yeah im just afraid the chemicals might stain the sole over time if they go unused

ok party people. i have a pair of carolina XI lows and their is some mild separation of the midsole from the patent leather. whats the best way to handle this?is superglue ok? or what is the best way to reglue them? the separation is up near the area where the shoe flexes when you walk. its not bad right now but idont want it to progress.

ON THE WHITE,BLACK AND RED 9'S. MY MID SOLES ARE YELLOWING, IS THE SANDING OF THE MID SOLES THE BEST/EASIEST WAY TO MADE THEM WHITE AGAIN?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW

@ SWADE23- sanding them will clean them up but yellowing happens; try a mr. clean magic eraser first

@sugarshane- best to use a glue that's made for that type of job due to the flexibility; try barge glue, e6000 or gorilla glue, Clamp them well and givethem enough time to cure and you'll be good to go

@CPinoy- no one knows the long term effects of what armor all might do to the shoe so the best way to keep the soles clear and icey is put them in ziplockbags, get rid of the paper (or at least remove it from making contact with the shoes) and the silica packs and store them in a cool, dry place.

Can someone give me a detailed description on how i should deal with sole separation on my space jam 11's? What adhesive works best how much should beused....just all the details that would help would be greatly appreciated....thanks.
