Last time we went for a Buffalo run, dude basically caught us and knew we were rocking all of our knew joints and stashed 'em in the back.

We showed him like $50 bucks worth of receipts and dude knew there was more we were hiding instantly.

Ultimately what I learned from him that day was even if you're in the US for a couple of hours, they aren't going to bring you in or charge you for amounts smaller than $200 really, unless you encounter a total prick or they suspect you of lying.

SMFH @ us, rocking hoodies and three layers of shirts at the end of May, all Polo and looking brand new, shoulda just drew a target on our foreheads.

If you go to the U.S. for the day... technically you're not allowed to buy anything. For over 24 hours, you're allowed $50. For over 48 hours - $200.00. And over 7 days you can spend up to $750 without paying taxes.

If they do tax you, it will be the GST and PST on the Canadian equivalent for the items.
