So, to get this straight. You’re okay with being lied to and being misled, because you’ve deemed Umar Johnson to be the best. Got it. Telling me something you couldn’t have ave learned if you didn’t hear it from Umar? The fact that you’re willing to make that concession and say you want what’s best for black people wild crazy. You realize that you can’t even criticize trump supporters now without being a giant hypocrite right? I am about Pan-Africanism and Dr Umar to me has been a great, knowledgeable leader in this cause and I love his insight. I dont agree with everything he does, but he pushes Pan-Americanism better than anyone else currently.

Well if the current “Best” teacher of Panafricanism is someone who can’t even preach on it without deceiving people, that says a lot about the state of Panafricanism in 2019 and the people who choose to follow him and choose not hold him accountable. When it comes uplifting the diaspora, that’s not a consession I’m willing to make. White supremacy has been lying to black people for centuries about the world around them, we don’t need that from the inside as well.

He is the leader of a VERY IMPORTANT MOVEMENT. The movement is more important to me than him, I will overlook his flaws for the benefit of the movement. If Umar tomorrow moves away to China and never speaks about the school again, then f him but that didnt happen yet. The school is still a work in progress and I will give him the benefit of the doubt until its clear as day that he isnt about the school and more importanly the movement. Fair?

Every single day she’s got experts on laying down the blue print for black People to come up. Building wealth, being civically engaged, education, politics and anything you can think of. And it’s all purposeful and for black People. She’s all not afraid to dissect the toxicity that comes from us as well. If you’re interested seeing how most of us feel, I suggest taking a look at the political thread if you want to see the countless discussion on black issues as it pertains to white supremacy, our systemic oppression, and our socioeconomic troubles that take place multiple times a day. Most of us are well versed and researched on exactly what’s going on with our people. The difference is in that thread you won’t get the time of day if you don’t come with facts. Which makes calling out cats like Umar Johnson easy. His goal is to build an empire on ignorance and falsehoods. I’m not here for it.

The political talk happens but how can you talk politics as a black person without addressing the very specific needs of the black community? I pointed out the political thread specifically because he’s trying to make the claim that “we don’t care that blacks are at the bottom”. That’s false and couldn’t be further from the truth. we often talk political, economic, systemic ways to fix that and combat white supremacy where ever it manifests.

Like I mentioned before, if you want a pan african, thread make it. As far as a umar johnson haters thread, for what? We already have this one. As long as he peddles easily verifiable falsehoods, the hate will follow. Imagine how much further the panafrican message would go if what the “best” teacher actually stuck to the truth and COULDNT be dismissed because he’s got receipts. Imagine how much more powerful it would be
