Black people are hurt and as much as Umar can and is helping he's also hurting A LOT. Any leader with controversy behind them is distracting people from the cause. Just think, if he'd been more transparent about the money and been willing to correct himself when he's caught using false information to pass his message what else would we be complaining about?

Plus Booker has one of the most progressive plans to lower mass incarceration.

Speaking as an economist, Booker's plans are not perfect, but he has solid ideas on how to seriously help black people. Way more than Umar's scams, lies, bigotry, and other fanciful nonsense. The thing with low information dudes like Umar that u less you scream "This is only to help black people", won't realize something would do good. And people like you fall for his finesse because his words make you feel good.
