Eazy will take less money if it comes down to it... LA put him on and he knows that

Delfino would be cold. Nick Young been dodging signing w/ us for the last 4 season... He'd be a suitable 6th man/instant offense guy if Monta cost too much

If Clark gets a multi year deal worth 5+ a year he's gone... And I wouldn't blame him..

Your fascination with Monta & Young kills me.

I like the idea of Farmar.. But for the Min. He wants back in the NBA. Wants back with the Lakers. Made only $3mil in Europe. Which means he wasn't getting anywhere near that in offers from NBA teams.

He wants a shot. Let him earn it.

And keep Blake.

Here is the honest route we need to go.

1. Re-sign Dwight
2. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCE do you amnesty Pau
3. July 10-16 is the amnesty period. You consider Blake & MWP. Depends on who you can get. I think it has to be MWP. Just because it's almost double Blake's salary, and PG was such a bad spot for us last year.
4. You kick the tires on Earl. See what the market says. You don't go any higher than $4.5mil for 1 year. Possibly a second year team option. *May have to lose him depending on what the market is.*

This is where we start. There's 3-4 roles that we need filled (Backup PG, 3point shooter, Stretch 4 who shoots, defensive specialist at the 3 (Yes, MWP is that but $ counts here).

Ryan Kelly can fill that stretch 4 and I'm sure the team trainers will work to develop Earl into a better shooter to spread the floor since he'll likely be rotating between the 4 and the 3...

Farmar, Wayne Ellington, Nick Young, Carlos Delfino, Chase Budinger, Earl Clark, Garcia, Copeland, Dwight Howard

Those are the guys Lakers have talked to/about in last 2 hours.

I'm 100% against Nick Young.. Would be a terrible signing.

Get some sort of combo that includes any of the bolded and Dwight and I'd be happy.

Def need nick if they can get him... Nobody on this roster can get into the paint & free throw on the perimeter besides Kobe. And I don't expect him to be getting to the cup like he did b4 the injury

If we don't get younger and some scorers at the 1 & 2, might as well get ready for a 7th or 8th seed again

Nick Young is a chucker. And not a good one at that.

No need for a scorer at 1 or 2..

PG needs depth.

SF is where all the focus should be....

Another shooter + Meeks + Kelly with Nash and Kobe????? Yes please.

Dwight/Pau/Clark/Hill handling the frontcourt.

Much much more spacing for everyone. Huge help.

I think Farmar is best option (all things consider at PG)..

Garcia would be a great guy for minimum (If he wanted to play for that).

Then you go after a shooter with mini MLE.

I agree 100% we need a creator..but not young...he made 5 mill...hed take the mmle?? Doubtful. I do like that he can play the 2 or 3. J.cross worked for the clips..maybe Young can work for us...but something about his gm and demeanor makes him a suspect fit. If he signed for mmle, I wouldn't be bothered, however..its 12-15 pnts in 28 mins for us.
