Misconduct was pretty good. 6/8
Story was good. Directing was really good although a bit too stylistic at times and there was no need to play with the non-linear storytelling as much as what happened but I get it.
Movie made Malin a bit sexier to me. Love me some Alice Eve and by the end of it I wanted more of her character. I knew she did it and she was just giving off a kind of Gone Girl vibe. Would be liked nor detective work from Julia Stiles in this.
Pacino and Hopkins got to play to type. Nothing too demanding so their gravitas and just air of confidence and intrigue come easily to the characters they're portraying.
Duhmael got a role where it didn't play to any of his negatives or just usual things I do t like about his acting.
Lee Byung-hun was dope as the accountant and I want to see him in more stuff. Dude could be a star as a leading man or as an antagonist/villain.

Everyone has flaws (except for Iskra and Misty Knight) but the director must've been mad at Amy Adams to keep those under-nostril shots of her.

Let's be real here - the up the nostril shot isn't exactly a good look for anyone.
And, unrelatedly, Collateral Beauty has an amazing cast. Will, Winslet, Ed Norton, Helen Mirren, Michael Pena. Yet, I'm only mildly interested.

I think cuz the concept of collateral beauty seems super cheesey.
There was some creepy previews before The Arrival. Split by m knight shamalan looked crazy. James McAvoy plays someone with split personalities that kidnaps 3 teenage girls and they try to convince some of the personalities to help them escape. Another trailer was about weird experiments in a mental hospital

Show just keeps surprising me, I can't believe they are telling this story. It's supremely intelligent and accurate. Man there is some good stuff being put out right now. It's crazy how long it's taken for something like this to the be put on TV though.

Yeah, and with the mid-December 15 release date, it just feels very Oscar-bait-y, which kind of rubs me the wrong way. But I'll reserve judgment until I start seeing reviews.
Oh, and I'd take Isla Fisher and Bryce over Amy Adams and Chastain for the starting spots in my redhead foursome. Hendricks is in there though.

Westworld is pretty great and has potential to be the next major hit on HBO.
Another hit from Jonathan Nolan (the superior Nolan brother).
I dunno why but it may be a bit of a thick potentially confusing plot for some ppl right away. Granted I didn't have that problem.
