westworld is fantastic so far. watching episode 7 as i eat lunch. my wife loves it too. the acting is really good.
i'm afraid that it might be to "smart" for some...or maybe even boring. hope we at least see this through to a conclusion and not have it end prematurely due to low ratings.

S2 is confirmed, and I'm sure the intellectual community will stick to it for the underlying themes if nothing else. The construct between man vs god/man as god, what does life mean, the AI overtones throughout, etc. As someone with a passive interest in artificial intelligence and the hope that I live to see something along the lines of a crude singularity, this show is must watch for me so far.

This is what Idris should be cranking out on the side. Solid to good action espionage flicks. Dude was more likable than the guys getting pushed here in the states but maybe that's just me being a fan of dude.

Robb Stark showed potential.

Going to check out Arrival in an hour. Amy Adams is very talented but it's not necessarily a cast I'm super into outside of Whitaker. Still don't get the Renner hype outside of his performances in Hurt Locker and The Town.

There is no Renner hype.

He just lucked in to some key roles on good movies. Then he got a small Hollywood push.

If it weren't for Marvel and Mission Impossible ppl would be wondering why he keeps getting blockbuster type movie roles.

I do recall some good acting from him in that movie he played a journalist so maybe that potential keeps his name on a short list too.

I'm quite enjoying Westworld

Bryce Dallas Howard is definitely the GOAT Red Head.

After seeing her in Black Mirror, man she might be top 5 all time Ever for me, legit Lady right there.

WestWorld is amazing. I wouldn't recommend a binge though, if I were you psk I'd go ahead and start it now and if you catch up before the Finale so be it. It's definitely better with a week digest in between episodes in my opinion.

I thought Arrival was good one of those films you need to see twice I think to fully grasp. The score is amazing as always with Villeneuve. 6/8

Anybody looking forward to Allied? Cotillard and Pitt would normally have me insta sold but I haven't enjoyed a Pitt movie since Inglorious Basterds (kinda liked tree of life but Pitt had no effect on it for me)

I haven't been hearing a whole lotta buzz from this film outside of E Hollywood tryna promote his celebrity status and Angelina break up.
