Our very own Hong Kong Sneaker Guide.

icons ~ There isn't any (generally speaking) negative sentiment on the Filipinos. If anything, the animosity is towards the Philippine government and how they handled the situation.

vc8481 ~ Most of the sneaker shops in Mong Kok are legit, but like anywhere, there is the odd shop that might have shady shoes. Ultimately, its up to you to make sure. To be 100% sure, just buy from the official Nike shops, Nike Basketball (in Mong Kok) and the other retail chains like Marathon Sports, Giga Sports and Royal Sporting House.

<Thank you so much SinnerP for the reply. Now I'm more informed on what stores to check. Tnx again.

does anybody know if the foamposite pro pearl drop in mongkok, fa yuen st.?

yeah, available at a few shops actually... dunno about size availability though.

what up sinner p!

just wanna ask if they released any colorway of the griffey 1 there in HK?

also, how long does it take to get to the airport from canton road? cuz i'll be staying in a hotel along canton road but need to be in the airport by 8:25am for my flight back to manila. are there cabs available around canton road by lets say 6:00am?

thanks!

^ No Griffey's here. Honkers don't know baseball and they certainly don't know Griffey.

I've never been at Canton rd at 6AM, but which part of Canton rd will you be at (its quite a long road)? But generally speaking, cabs aren't hard to find around the TST area. I'd say it would take around 45mins to 1 hour to get to the airport, but probably less if there isn't any traffic. At 6AM, the traffic should be light. Leave at around 6AM just to be safe.

the hotel is located @ the intersection of nathan road/canton rd.

if thats the case then i guess we can start waiting outside our hotel @ 6am and it wont be a problem to find a cab and be in the airport in an hour or less...

good lookin out sinner p! thanks man!

[h3]^ I don't recall seeing those here.

Anyway, a new Nike Basketball shop has opened in the Wan Chai district... similar to HOH in the US.

Lots of Kobe V's... and before anyone asks, the Bruce Lee's were the first to sellout.  They supposedly only got a few pairs.  The Rice and Aces were pretty nice though.  Good luck.

The pics, I think, were taken on Oct 1, which was the grand opening. No guarantees on what they'll have in a couple of weeks.

Nike Flagship in TST
Nike Basketball in Mong Kok and Wan Chai (2 stores)
Various sneaker shops in Mong Kok
All are worth checking out. Depends, also, on what you're looking for.

Any SB accounts in HK? Tryna' get some Janoski's while my friend is still there. TIA! =)

Check the previous pages... I posted a few links to some SB accounts.  NSW stores also have selected SB models.  Not sure about the Janoski's though.

SinnerP, very nice update. Would you know how much are they selling the KBV's? Is the DK still available?

^ US$130. As of yesterday, they still had the DK's. I know they have, at least, a 9.5 and 10.5.

Boopaolo ~ I believe so. Check that, no.
