I use an xbox 360 controller (wired). About crysis. You need a pretty damn good computer to run at max. I dont even think mine can run it withoutexperiencing poor FPS.

What kind of hardware do you need to run Crysis at its top settings?

I'm thinking about upgrading this weekend.

The performance you experience in that game has a lot to do with your graphics card, especially if you're playing at high resolutions but you'd stillsee a performance increase if you went quad core. What resolution do you play at and how much are you willing to spend to upgrade?

Maybe this can give you a general idea for video cards

Granted if you're not big on PC games you probably don't want to go too crazy. Going quad core and using a gtx 260, 4870, gtx 280, or 4890 I thinkwould give you the result you'd want with the last two performing noticeably better..They do the review with high resolutions to showcase the graphiccards so the performance isn't bottlenecked by the CPU.

His cpu is old...and the ram is probably pc 3200. Crysis is a hell of a resource hog.

Which is why I said he should go quad core. True about the ram tho depends on the chipset prolly needs to upgrade the mobo as well.

Yo I'm selling my e machine D3107 THE ONE I WAS GONNA upgrade but it wasn't worth is ..for 200 bucks I'm going to save it for a gaming PC man.
I might use that money to upgrade me compaq tough or just save that money and combine it with my birthday money and borrow some money from my parents and buy anew HP FIREBIRD GAMING PC SERIES.

PC Gaming was expensive and much more addicting for me than an Xbox or PS3 for some reason.

But yeah, I played CS: Source competitively. Was CAL-M/CAL-I @ caleague.com..if any of you know what that is. This was like almost 4 years ago.
