I can tell you guys alligator meat is actually tasty!


Most people say it tastes like chicken though. It's really good for you, lean and nutritious.

What's strange to me is that its served "skin on" in that picture. My only guess is that it got into a lot of fights and had too much damage to its skin to have it feasibly skinned and tanned.

Alligator is very gamey for a meat. But depending on who cooks it, can make it very tender. However I have yet to try this with this particular delicacy.
