but I love the local beer store around my work so I can try different ales throughout all seasons. I use to make a variety six pack every week but I sloweddown. I might get back into it. Its great to try new beer! Beer ftw!

I'm not even going to hate, this is the best beer thread NT has ever had so far. King23James and AceBomber (and a couple others) actually seem like theyhave good taste! Even by non-NT standards!!!

I don't drink often but I've noticed dark beer > light beer.

Any suggestions?

I normally drink Red Stripe or Newcastle. New York doesn't have much local beer except Brooklyn Brewery

That Oatmeal Stout looks amazing.

I'm impressed with your taste. Most people don't even know about Chimay, but the ones that do consider it the champagne of beers. Cheers to that

I also like Innis Gunn - would say it's acquired taste though.

Don't mind a good old Corona with lime or Heineken at the bar but Chimay and Innis Gunn are more classy and definitely good with a nice meal. Gets points from the ladies in the 21-30 age group.
Usually, I won't touch beer...I'm more of a tequila type of chick, but if none, Heineken is my choice. However, if there is Chimay, I willdrink only that. Heaven.

Yes, I'm a very poor college student.
I respect that. For value, PBR is very good to me. We have some pretty good micro breweries in St. Louis, but Budweiser will always be my go-to.
