Wow, some strong opinions in that one. The Miami diss hurt a lot though. Yeah, we've had our share of wack rappers and one decent rapper that makes great music (with a suspect background), but you can't respect Miami bass? I don't know how many female derriere's your grinded on at house parties and clubs from 1988 - 2002, but they number in the thousands for me thanks to Luke and that whole movement. I guess when they played Luke in the club you just walked out.

I'm slowly starting to dislike the opinion of "real rap", just cause I feel like there are so many people that will drive that opinion into the ground only because they see a handful of people saying it, so they figure it's the cool thing to do.

all of these opinions in this thread are acceptable because i know they're opinions.

but that's just disrespectfully incorrect.

like EVERYBODY, including Big Boi, acknowledge that 3Stacks>BigBoi.

(but Aquemini is an orgasm on a disc)

Its not a slight to 3k at all. But, since Stankonia, which was 10 years ago, Big has laid down 2 classic rap ALBUMS, while 3k has laid down a handful of classic rap VERSES (The Love Below is a classic in it's own right). Now, is 3k more talented? Probably so.... But, until he comes out of his little rap retirement (which for me is at Detox level x 10), I'm repin the homie Big. Again, no hate on 3k from me, he's easily one of the best to ever do it.

Round 2:

--Big Pun was not original with his style. He stole Kool G Rap's whole aura and ran with it. RIP though...

--Eminem stole Chino XL's style. Yeah, a black man did it first and the only reason Marshall blew up with it is because he was more marketable as a gimmick.

--Lil B is a genius because he figured out how to get people to literally worship him and support his buffoonery as some sort of movement.

--Erykah Badu has ruined the careers of two great rappers (Common, Andre 3000) and shut one down before it even got started (Jay Electronica).

--Lil' Wayne... Just don't like him and never have or will.

--Ludacris looks like that cornball cousin who visits from out of town and swears he's doing it.

--Tupac was sexually confused. Dude wore leather bras and %+!% . He made good music though.

--NaS is a proven sucker.
