Ive seen the word "silhouette" misused among sneakerheads more than I care to admit. I dont know who started it, but I see it on this board, IG, youtube, EVERYWHERE. A silhouette is an effect created when a light illuminates the edges of a dark subject from behind.

Silhouette has been adopted to mean the sneaker's unique shape and model though, it's basically a slang word among sneakerheads. It's not meant to stick to the real definition.
