For those that have “push to start” on your car, how do you guys not think it’s a big deal? Lol. Like, I seriously think it’s one of the best inventions on a car, ever!

bought my prius in 2006 and loved it. fast forward to both my smart keys all busted up and me asking the dealership to make new ones and getting quoted around $600 per smart key.

It's definitely convenient. I appreciate it.

That's the bad part.. Replacing it or fixing it.. I wear my key fob on my neck because of my lanyard. . The fob has fallen off at least 5 times.. :{

I will never own a car with that feature. I don't trust that level of technology.

Def clutch
Woulda locked my phone in my car multiple times if not for having the key fob thing

It’s one of those things that you think is the **** when you don’t have. Once you get it.....it’s just how you start the car. The starter can still go out on that bihh.

Push to start is cool but theres something about stepping down on a clutch, shaking the shifter side to side to make sure its in neutral and turning that key fob to hear that rumble. :smokin

I knew this was gonna be some ****

NYT: More than 2 dozen people killed by carbon monoxide after leaving on their keyless cars

By Jackie Wattles May 14, 2018: 5:00 AM ET

A report from the New York Times found that dozens of people have been poisoned by carbon monoxide after failing to shut off the keyless ignition on their vehicles.

Since 2006 at least 28 people have died and 45 others have suffered injuries from the gas after they thought they had turned off their vehicles, the Times found.

The report highlights the efforts by some groups to push for new regulations from automakers to combat the problem.
