Ran into @ksteezy in the train

Did y’all ever consider that dozing off and relaxing doing nothing sitting in a train or bus is more convenient then driving? My boy has a car and drives me around, with those handicapped plates which allows him to park damn near anywhere free and I still prefer public transportation in certain instances

So she got her own corner
and her stench takes up da whole train car.

im good, catch me in traffic 10x over sharing cramped space with street vagrants...wait till its winter and dope fiends take to da subway for warmth...them needles going to start poppin up.
?

according to Alp you don’t have to take more than 10 steps between train and bus connections....lol ya always clowning on ninja for saying he lives in a bubble, but ya live a lifestyle that is easily connected with a couple of train lines and consider Yonkers “the middle of nowhere”
I live next to the a line. Only slightly inconvenient places to get to are the upper east side. Everything else easy with a train or a bus

So go in the next cart?? :lol
That **** was funny when I used to go to school early. Every cart was packed and then one was empty, lol you ain’t even need to wonder why
Maybe I’m the only one on here but I like to mix things up. Random stupid **** that occurs in the subway be funny to me. Makes life interesting instead of doing the same thing over and over again every day.
And y’all forgetting a traffic accident can make a ten minute drive 3 hours too.

cars aren't stuck on rails, alternate routes are always available...when trains is stuck u not going anywhere.
Alternate train lines and/or buses. You stuck on a major highway and said accident happening lo and behold you ain’t going nowhere. And when you finally do get to said alternate route everyone and they mama there too

Fools wilding or thinking they doing it paying 600 a month to park a damn car smh
Your opinion though. I’m not thinkin I’m doing it by being able to pay 600 to park, hell I hate paying it but I dont want my car to get ****** up. Cars happen to be my hobby and what I like. Hell we’re on a site here based on a hobby, mine just happens to be cars. I like taking my car out on nice weekends.

MTA is pretty dirty y'know how unsanitary it is, vermin like rats bugs, poles are dirty. Delays, possible arguments/fights, dependency. People look at you taking public transportation like youre cheap.

The pride and joy you feel hopping in your ride, if you can afford a nice benz, bmw, or droptop, coupe etc. You are more responsible and independent. Yes, costs add up, but if you think NY is more public transportation convenient, prolly live in those areas.

Car is better in certain parts of Queens and LI especially. You have more flexibility, choice. Cars are convenient for bigger families.

NY might be he only place people would really argue public transportation > having your own car. U couldn’t put me to use public transportation. Give me a truck wherever I go idc.

If you are just moving around in the CITY, DC folks don't need a car.

As ahat ahat said, the subway in Tokyo goes everywhere

once again, you are speakingof commuting exclusively within the island, you ain’t going to queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Brooklyn or up into WestChester....google any commute where public transport would be quicker than a car outside the Island...I’ll wait.

3 hour commute because of an accident? Now you jumping on NT extremes, the only time it took me 3 hours to get from yankee stadium to my house was last year during that unpredicted snow storm that crippled the city, other than that no matter the accident, I’ve never been delayed more than 40 minutes at most from where I’ve needed to be....lord just the thought of having to commute by public transport to shoot a wedding in Long Island gives me anxiety..

Anyone ride a bike? Seems like everyday day or two I hear of a bike rider in Brooklyn getting hit by a car and dying.
I ride from Brooklyn eastern parkway and Franklin to 42nd and 2nd daily about 45 mins on a good day. Mostly white folks getting hit by cars. That white privilege got them taking the 'right of way' concept too literally. When you're on a bike never challenge a car or truck for the right of way.

How do you boys go food shopping?

There are plenty of grocery delivery services. Only negative is you can’t pick your produce, but you can easily carry that from a grocery store.

Drive into midtown today, took me 35 minutes to get down here all the way from tremont...dudes talmbout 3 hour commutes, liars
