RIP George Floyd

Natural result of the president demonizing the media for years and considering them enemies of the state like a proud fascist/authoritarian.

They literally gave no reason at all and didn't give a damn if it was on camera, whole scene was ridiculous. Like 50+ deep surrounding a reporter to intimidate then arrest him. Not sure if Hong Kong, Moscow or Minny

Trump out here dropping bars on Twitter. He really did learn a thing or two from appearing in those rap videos.

In all seriousness though, I was up till 2am last night just following Twitter - the anger was unreal. Privilege and entitlement going to tear this country down

Wow. When the National Guard gets called in this could turn ugly. I’m not trusting the ability of a ‘weekend warrior’ to maintain trigger discipline on a 50 cal and follow orders when things get hot. If they bring in the National Guard with a martial law order y’all be safe if you plan on attending these demonstrations and protests.

Hong Kong and Moscow = All reporters and crews arrested.

Minnesota = Only black reporter and crew arrested.

Natural result of racism. Been going on way before Trump.

Talking strictly about the venom and enmity aimed at the press over the last few years, he's literally called them 'the enemy of the people' publicly like the demagogues and despots we criticize around the world.

The racism is what the country was built on for sure though, now they have official cover from right at the top for cracking down on reporters.

Just realized that the burning of the police precinct could lead them to "tamper" with a lot of cases given that "evidence" could've been burned down. This could lead to more corruptness smh
of course. the police started the fire inside the precinct then left the station unguarded for the crowd to take advantage. they'll later say they were forced out and that important evidence has been destroyed by all the violent thugs outside leaving them looking like the victims, rinse repeat, etc. playbook ****

Considering all that's been said, and how deadly this virus is supposed to be there probably should be a ral explosion in Covid cases in Minny? thousands of protestors & officers..... people couging & wheezing due to running & smoke etc etc

but something tells me now that the news cycle has moved on this won't happen

Why would the police stage something like that when they come out looking tone deaf?
Think about how it affects you mentally to see something like that. That's why. They don't even need to reach you physically in order to torture you. It's called a psychological operation.

the camera with the cnn logo and attached camera crew wasn't proof enough? the press credentials weren't enough that you had to arrest the man on camera while a white reporter was standing a few feet away?
utter bs. they were flexin for the world

Legit insulting peoples intelligence and telling them not to believe their eyes with that since the whole thing was on camera
