I just got an email from the warriors saying 10am press conf. with a major announcement coming. It also has a big 2017 logo with the warriors bridge logo in the zero in 2017. I think it's a done deal now.

Even as a life long Oakland resident I have nothing against this. As long as they remain the Golden State Warriors.

If they change the name to San Francisco I might be done.

I actually think that is one of the better things about the Warriors...and that is their name. So much better then a Spur or a Buck and even a Pacer.
