The #1 player in the nation is not named John Wall.

While he has talent... I SINCERELY DISAGREE!!!!!

How you gonna say Gilchrist is the next "Takeover Superstar" in the NBA when he is arguably not even the best player on his own high school team?

I almost started to say you serious, then i saw your sig and that explained everything..
I wont lie, Gilchrist does the Beasley/Tristan Thompson, where there are game where you wonder what is all the special and then there are games where you thin no one could really check the kid. But from a potential standpoint, dude is unreal. and i know everyone plays out the KD comparison, cause he's skinny, tall and allergic to the paint. Kid is a killer instinct from being a serious problem. And honestly, i think being on such a talent team holds him back, dude never really seems like he has the "green light", where he just is like this is MY squad. He defers way too much for someone who is that talented.

Kyrie is gonna be good for duke (as much as im gonna hate it), but Gilchrist's potential outshines damn near anyone, and if anyone dares to bring up Austin River.

I was just playing with you.

But yeah, I obviously do think John Wall is going to take the league by storm.  I think he has a very good chance to be the best PG on the planet at some point in his lifetime.

I think Wall and Gilchrist will have something similar to their college games...

I've been able to watch a few Kentucky games and I would say he is a good guard. I think he has point guard skills but he turns the ball over and makes stupid decisions sometimes. All in all, he is good when it comes down to crunch time and he's very quick and has a steady mid-range game but he's more of a slasher. Like everybody else is saying if he can extend his range he'll be a very good college player and pro.

He is very good. Questionable shot selection, high turnover rate, but I could see him being on the DRose level in a few years. He's not as good as Chris Paul though.

nah. Down here in DFW right now, see/hear a lot about him. Looks like a Lamar Odom 2.0: all the talent in the world, no motor....Gilchrist defense is Shane Battier'$#+, and offensively looks pretty well-rounded....Cory Joesph > * tho....
