An easy way to discern the "washed" bills is the color on the various bills.

Be smart when you're making these sorts of transactions. Especially when it comes to shoes, people will do whatever it takes sometimes to get them. Stay educated and hopefully this won't happen again.

Make sure to ship to confirmed addresses only with signature confirmation.

i dont know if this is the same thing..

but someone on here mentioned to wait 24 hours to ship out whatever it is you're selling, so that they cant file a claim with paypal..but i think if they pay with their CC account they will get their money back..

they will try to say that someone made a fraudulent purchase on their account and get their money back and also your goods..

You make them yourself. You can get arrested but there is a loophole that can get you off the charges. Woz is known to give no dambs, I won't recommend regular folk trying the sheet he does

i work at a bank and can basically tell on the spot whether or not a bill is fake or not.

I tend to stay away from the older bills. If you want a low tech way to figure if they're fake or not, on the president's shirts, run your finger or fingernail vertically and you can feel the ridges on the shirts. No counterfeit bills would go through the trouble to fake those details.

 True, I have some $2 sheets from the Treasury I bought. Don't want to use them since I paid more than they're worth. But the reactions.
