Shooting at DC Navy Yard - 12 Dead

Someone's mom or dad ain't coming home tonight.

My conclusion has been drawn. More information doesn't change a damn thing.

Some **** is black and white.

That's my stance as well. There were innocent people murdered today at work. Not everything is a conspiracy, IMO.

I love a good conspiracy...but no matter what you think....the fact that innocent people died is a terrible thing. Unless you believe like the people that died were really satan...and needed to go...in which case...i can see you not having sympathy or anything. But if not....its a sad day regardless of motivation

Rick Mason, administrative specialist program management specialist for the U.S. Navy, told Yahoo News he was on the fourth floor when he saw a shooter had a shotgun, aiming down into the atrium. The gunman, Mason said, was targeting people who walked into the cafeteria.

That's pretty scary :smh:

His last name is Mason you say?

I don't think ratify was the word you meant to use. You can't ratify something again.

I have been listening to a debate this morning from a former supreme court justice talking about how the 2nd amendment is outdated. right on time i guess...

Scary ****.

World get crazier and crazier every day it seems.

Is it time to make the crib into a fortress yet?

Today is just a sad day. Like dude above said, people's mothers and fathers aren't coming home tonight. I can't imagine telling my son see you later for football practice and that's the last he's seen of me.

lol@you not understanding the definition of "ratify"... you and RARE are prime examples of America's failed education system

Man take your grumpy *** on somewhere.

Post your frog and beanie memes and be done with this thread.

All I did was say I heard a debate about gun control from a former supreme court justice.

And you got the nerve to insult my education.

You don't know nothing about me except what I tell you boy

Man, growing up I always thought "At least these types of things are only happening in small communities in the middle of nowhere (relatively speaking). No way anyone in a major city is crazy enough to do this" Now you have @#$% like this occurring in Boston, DC, etc...

that's one angry paragraph.

Because you wait around for me to post like some crazy old dude in the neighborhood just waiting for an opportunity to tell kids to get off his grass.

All you had to do was address the guy and correct him on the proper words to use. The lesson probably would have sank in then. But instead of creating and opportunity to teach someone something, you rather attempt to destroy people with your supposed wit. I wasn't even apart of the quote yet you came to single me and RARE out making broad generalizations on american education based on forum post.

You are not new, unique or cool. Just another example of american exceptionalism arrogance

Lanier: In Navy Yard investigation, police looking for white man, 40-50, tan military uniform consistent with Naval uniform, beret.

:smh: All bad...just all bad.

The fact that there may be more shooters out there is VERY unsettling.

Shooting happened in my dad's building. I woke up late this morning to like 9 texts from him. I was fearing the worst as I keep reading and then I texted him back and tried to call him but he didn't pick up. He eventually texted me back and we been keeping in contact the last few hours. He left his keys in his office so he got to find a ride from his co worker. They still on lockdown so they haven't let them leave yet. MSNBC saying one of the shooters used a ID from a old employee. ID checks on military bases are so lazy especially to get on base. Used to joke about it all the time when I was in the Air Force but :smh: .

I can't even imagine....glad to hear your Dad is OK.

One gunman, 34-year-old Aaron Alexis of Fort Worth, Texas, is among the twelve dead. Officials said he recently began working as a civilian contractor.

Something as simple as being thorough on the ID check may have saved some lives today.

RIP to the innocent.

The fact that my post was taken completely out of context just because I want to see what more sources have to say about this is crazy.

Apparently wanting more knowledge about what occurred and why is a bad thing. General has been full of clowns and reachers lately.

But he worked there, right? So he got in like any other day.

EDIT: Nvm he used another ID. Seem as if he used his own.

prayers out to him and all the families affected

What's the difference between a suicide bomber in the Middle East killing innocent people and these ransom shooters here domestically?

...these Ns are terrorists.
