but his days of being a heavy hitter mainstream artist are over , he's 

yo gotti status where he's not doing bad , he's just not doing great

and can still get show money 

as for the rick ross comparison , its tough to call , their last albums

sold around the same but meek and wale both dropped and ross drops

an album and a group compilation cd every year , and jeezy's dropped

one album in 5 years.

Ross makes better music that Jeezy. But Jeezy still has a very loyal and dedicated fanbase, and I along with millions of others will check whenever we see he's dropped something new.

It's enough room for Ross, Jeezy, and Gucci to all eat. Nobody is big enough right now to "Ja Rule" somebody out of the game. Plus the beefs you mentioned did not have enough people caring for someone to be exiled like that.

IMO Ross been making better music than Jeezy since Deeper Than Rap. But Gucci? Nah. Gucci can make some bangers but he's never been as good as Jeezy. I don't think Jeezy will ever be as hot as he was 5 or 6 years ago but dude is still making some dope **** and he has a great fanbase.
