So I broke up with this chick about a month ago, we were together 2+ years. Come to find out shes ran up about $250 on uber with my credit card in the past couple weeks. She must have had it saved on her account from when I paid for a ride for her one time. When we were still together the same thing happened once but she said she charged on my card and not hers by mistake, she rides uber daily. I told her then to take my card off her account, apparently she did not. I've already contacted my cc company and told them the charges were fraudulent so I know shes got a nice outstanding balance on uber so she won't be able to get rides until she pays it :smokin But because I told my cc company I still had the card in my possession they just changed the number and sent me a new card. They said any charges made inadvertently on the old card will be transferred to the new card, which makes zero sense to me but I didn't say anything at the time because I had ordered a few things that were still processing and I didn't want them to get canceled. So now today I see a rental car charged on my card, I believe she had my card saved on her priceline account as well. I know the cc company will cover all these charges but they asked if I had reported it to the police last time. I'm kinda conflicted on what to do on that end. I kinda wanna report her cause she got the game ****** up, committing felonies cause shes bitter. But on the other hand I want zero to do with the police and I'm not really one to file charges on people unless I absolutely have to. So I thought I would let NT decide what I should do. Should I report her, give them her name and location? Or should I just report the charges and act like idk where they're coming from? What do NT?

if you get your money back because you reported fraud and they changed the CC numbers i dont see an issue here. Dont give her that desired attention she is trying to get you may end up regretting it

You can't just call her and tell her pay up?
If she's using his info for everything I doubt she'll pay anything up

Basically. She been blowing my phone up. This is payback/trying to get a response. It's beyond a civil convo in my mind. Plus at this point I doubt it's something shes willing or able to pay all at one time, which means prolonged contact I don't want. I'd get the money quicker by just reporting it.

Just report unauthorized use of your card. File a claim for every ride she's taken.

Like I said, I've reported the charges already. A new card is on the way. But for some reason the bank is allowing charges made on the old card to go on to the new card. Seems pointless if you are reporting fraud to keep the old number active, it's something I'm going to obviously have to clear up when i report the latest charge. But the question is do I give them a name to investigate to recoup their losses or file charges against when I call the cc company again. Seems kinda petty to rat her out cause it could really **** her life up, but at the same time she gotta have some type of consequence for acting like a fool.

If you don't wanna report her, and the CC company is going to pick up the rental car charge. Then just take the L, and don't talk to her.

Take this as a lesson. Don't give your girl your cc number. If she needs something and you're picking up the bill, order on your account. That way if you guys split all you have to do is change your password at the very least.

my man you just answered your own question. She acting like a fool than she will get a fools consequences but no need to call her or let her know what you are doing. You will end up sparking a convo you dont want to have.

-Make her hit the street for u escorting till the money is paid up

-Put a hit out on her

-take one of her cards n run it up in retaliation

im surprised by how many NTers would stoop to a spiteful female level.

or maybe im not surprised

I guess my question is.

Why were you paying for her Uber Rides in the first place? Did she not have her own money?

if they send u a new card with a new number the old becomes inactive which mean she wont be able to use it anymore. Just make sure u dispute all charges prior to getting a new one and u good b.
