maybe that's the average?

other shows save up some of the budget for more expensive episodes or finales but at the end of the day, its not really the length of the show that matters that comes with the cost, the set is going to cost the same to build whether its shot for a day or a week

but a 30min good episode is better than a bloathed hour-long episode

Agreed, less is more in some cases.

If anything the trailers showed some serious CGI heavy stuff coming up though...Plus that whole sandcrawler and egg capturing scenes couldn’t have been cheap, and that’s just a single episode...

New tv spot with breakdown.
Troops look good. Bike tech regressed.

Minute mark 2:00.
JJ seen too many old school kungfu movies.

Some YouTube videos out there regarding some of the test showings and the results weren't too great.

JJ's had to rectify a ton of stuff on top off that helmet. LOL what really stood out to me was the fact that they actually shoehorn some type of training for Rey, which is moot seeing as she washed the entire FO in the first 48 hours upon 'discovering/enabling' the Force.

The 'horse riding' scene on this joint is equally as bad as the casino scene in TLJ.

SMH at the trooper 'hover bike' being ditched in favour of that crap. Guess Disney didn't want to spend money on the 'hovering' CGI.

Feeling Finn's new shorty.

Legitimately glad all the spoilers are out. Going into this with extremely low expectations and not paying a cent as work's taking us for a team outing. :nthat::nthat::nthat:

With all the leaks, spoilers, etc... this joint looks like a 2.25 or 2.5 out of 5 movie. Background noise while you do your laundry, cook, etc... Patiently waiting for the inevitable 9/10 or 95% RottenTomatoes.com scores.

Haven't read spoilers yet, but I just hope that this brings a solid ending to this original timeline.

We can also blame JJ for that helmet snafu. He should of never taken it off when interrogating Rey and then put it back on 5mins later
They should have never casted Adam Driver....their intent from the beginning was to have him remove the helmet because of the actor.

I'll agree with you buschfan04 buschfan04 - JJ was way too inconsistent with Ren's mask in TFA.

In any case it would not have mattered if he had stayed with the mask on the entire film as Rian Johnson had him take it off immediately in TLJ. :smh: :smh: :smh:

Don’t even get me started on that:lol: He had so much swag the way he came out that ship with that on hoody too and then stopping a blaster fire like it was nothing. Voice under the mask was so on point too. Sorta sounded mechanical but had deep bass to it. He was ready to be the next great SW villain.

I knew it was a wrap for him as soon as he took off that helmet and his big *** Dumbo ears popped out:lol: It was game over from then.

I get the feeling that won't be the case this time around with the critic scores.

Fans will want to be entertained and get a conclusion but critics will be looking for a consistent story and satisfying end to the trilogy.

I don't have faith in JJ that the feel of that will be established let alone actually accomplishing it.

Rey with no training/swinging lighsaber at big rock = top 3 jedi of all time
Rey with one training session = :wow:

They thought they could pull off what the MCU consistently does by ignoring masks and helmets and really all it did was ruin what could've been a great reveal if timed right in the movie.

The Kylo/Ben character was poorly written garbage anyway though.

I mean just put it in direct comparison to Vader in the original trilogy...How amazing was it to see that helmet get taken off at the end of RotJ? Or even the brief tease of him without it in ESB?

They could’ve taken the same approach with Kylo...But sadly, much like everything else with this trilogy, they didn’t take the time to sit down and plan things out in a cohesive way...Just throwing **** at the wall to see what sticks definitely wasn’t the play...
