I don't squat or Dl, but do hack squats on the machine. My form is awful on normal squats and just doesn't feel right on my back.

DL looks dangerous on my back as well so just stay away. (Microdisectomy last year)

Maybe I'll start DL one day though.

Anyways, I do box jumps everyday just to practice explosiveness, what else can you do to improve that?

I always have lower back issues so I eased up on the deadlifts but I loved doing them. Bought a lightweight lifting belt (those nylon ones with velcro straps) to use when I do chest and leg days. I have a leather belt that I used to use when I went heavier but obviously wont be as comfortable as a nylon belt. When it comes in im planning on doing light deadlifts (135-155) just to keep those muscles engaged.

People substitute flat bench with incline or dumbbell presses but I personally love benching. Makes me feel manly as hell. :smokin

w DL i go back and forth on them. main issue right now is that my program has me doing back day after leg day.

I've been prevented from benching a couple times from shoulder injuries, neither were related to lifting at all

I don't understand why you would completely stop benching, unless for whatever reason, you just can't physically do it.
my man!

Haven't deadlifted in months.. Used to love it but grown to hate it
lol i wanna blame my od age, but its truly a need for more consistency. I'm to a point where i can't even struggle rep 3 plates
