sucks, i have to carry 2 U-locks and a bulldog chain in my backpack everywhere I ride.... easily and extra 15 pounds on my body.... :/

This is why I'm hesitant to leave my bike chained up somewhere.

When has anyone cared about bikes being stolen though?
When I was a kid we used to roll in packs to downtown (which was crowded) and steal bikes and I never been in trouble for it and don't know anyone who has. And this is NYC, dudes can witness a stabbing and gonna mind their business, let alone a damn bike.
