I think the end game is to provoke a retaliation getting emotions high doing it in the holy month, and then use it as justification for more colonist land grabs. And also just plain old sadistic terror and oppression.

Sadly folks will continue to not care, especially with whats going on in Ukraine now. I mean even reading between the lines in this very thread the downplaying of what has been and continues to happen to the Palestinian people is evident.

First elected official I'm seeing address the matter, and hopefully it encourages more to. Imagine the shoe was on the other foot. It's crazy that brown/muslim folks are expected to just accept the abuse and turn the other cheek, but the imperialists are permitted to disproportionately retaliate if there's ever anything done to them.
