TEAM AIR TRAINER

ft's are definitely one of the best i've seen for recent's, nice pics Zoomflight. wally, big props on the mass of info and sharing it all, myknowledge base is def starting to come together. as for a top 6, original separate toes are top of the list along with the mesh samples, my list would need toinclude some of the strapless trainer's though, some of my favourites. i think you are right saying cross trainer's were the backbone of nike'sprofits for the earlier era too, some of that profit should go into keeping the legacy going...

Edit: Top 6
1. AT1 FT, og cw
2.mesh toe at1 sample
3. air trainer 1 low, og cw
4.at1 chloro
5.cross trainer 4
6. TW lite III

my top 4, i dont have a top six, but i have to start with the classic AT 1... one of the first shoes i ever wanted (besides the air revs)

1. trainer 1 chlorophyl
2. trainer SC II Lime
3. trainer huarache Purple
4. Air trainer 1 lows

^ Almost forgot about that...

1. AT1 Chloro
2. SCII Infrared
3. Zoom Trainer
4. AT2 Maroon
5. Air Trainer Huarache Purple
6. AT1 FT

As a 'wildcard'... something I'd like to see is a chloro colorway of the AT2's and AT3's...

About time we get a team air trainer lol. Wally the in depth lesson is very well appreciated. All around great stuff guys. I'm always on the hunt for ogcolorways. Here are a few of the air trainers that i currently own. I sold off a few for different reasons. My biggest regret will probably be selling off my1990 women's sc hi grape/magenta colorway.

Air Trainer I

2000 chlorophyll - Easily in my top 5. The 2002 or 2008 release doesn't compare that's why i own neither. Still on the hunt for one more pair.

beater pair

Air Trainer III

2003 Medicine ball

2001 Indigo

2001 Regal Blue - My favorite colorway of the air trainer iii. Thanks to my connect in Japan i have a DS pair on the way.

Air Trainer SC Hi

1998 Orange Crush/Concord - The concord color is constantly mistaken for royal blue for being such an odd shade of purple. My favorite colorway of the schi's. Will wait and see what this years release looks like in person.

1997 Graphite OG raiders colorway

1998 Royal Blue/Zen Grey - Basically beaters

........ had a DS size 11but sold them because they were too big.

Air Trainer Huarache

2003 Royal Blue

Wally, that is very useful, thank you. Years back we had a thread like this and Air Elijah put together a very exhaustive chronology that I still might havesaved somewhere.

The blk/green Huarache Trainers are not OG....the OG green colorway was a forest suede with black or dark grey accents.

good to see all those shoes freshkicks95. same taste as me

ruffin51, Air Elijah put this sneakerfreaker piece together for cross trainers. apparently featured in their magazine issue #3

It's the best I've ever seen and trust the information there is quite accurate ie years and shoe titles.. It's not too rich in the photo departmentas shoes correlating to a shoe title, then to a year, like I would have like to have seen. In some sense of the word, the photos are random. This helps no oneas nike has over the years changed names of their shoes and ommitted subnames of many shoes.. A nike trainer high, turns into the trainer 1 , other catalogsshow it as a trainer high classic... another trainer classic.. SCs over the years were year after year simply titled SC's in catalogs. In retail form, manyboxes had the approriate SC I, SC II, or SC III names.. trainer highs came out in early 87 and late 87. the late 87s for some are considered 1988 releases. theearly 87s just were the green accented, then the later release had both the green and red. im more of a photographic learner so its hard to correlate names toreal life shoe models.. His list starting on page 12 is real nice, but at the same time, i think features just the core models. I have a catalog scan from the88-90 era and it has over 5 models not even mentioned in there. Many other scans ive seen arent listed on there.. It' would take the work of a small armyto get a truly comphrensive and decent list of what was released... I essentially covered the "popular" mainstream models that would likely getthrown into a history of cross trainer release... I'd look through hundreds of pages of catalog scans if given the right resources at nike. do some peoplejust not care at nike?

the tim o'connors cw was nice too. such a great shoe.
one thing i think people fail to realize is just how well the saviers are made. Much better than Trainer SB and regular issue nike trainers.

Savier's are

. They put what I thought were great quality trainersin the nike at1 2000s to shame. May the good die young.

. From theleather, to the suede, to a midsole that doesnt use paint, but a midsole that is actually THAT color, much like the og nike trainers, saviers get my trueappreciation.

some new photos:
-such a nice shape on this model.
