FAM!!!!!!!! I am majorly behind in here, but I see lots of good things posted from new and (very) old faces I'll do my best to catch up and try to stay more current in here. It's tough with a baby in the house though 
I've had a few pickups to share the last little while. I'll post them as I get time.
I was impressed with the mesh and mudguard leather on these "OG" retro infrareds, so I had to grab them.
Best materials we've seen on infras in a while. I had to make a few adjustments to suit me though:
2003 retro on the left, "OG" retro on the right:
It's a much narrower shoe overall (compared to the '03s and '05 HOAs at least). A lot less ankle padding especially, but they're still comfortable enough.
"OG" retro front, '03 retro rear
And painting the lip helps, but it's still no substitute for that '03 bubble :x We'll never see that again, unfortunately.

GREAT comparison man. I love the retro thye just did, however I think that the suede on the side is just alittle too dark. Not a fan

so what's the story behind these? i knew off the bat that these weren't navigation 90's cuz there is no lasering print, but the speckled midsole must've thrown a few off as mentioned.

Was dragging this morning, so decided to "just do it" and wear sneakers to work. Went with these.
Mid-day pick me up, as these were delivered. Really glad I chose a pair of these over the vintage versions that released. I can see they will get heavy wear starting immeidately.
