Yea its good to be back in the fold. Im still fighting to try and get my tickets to Megadeth. I was devastated when I heard the bad news, I havent seen them live... Oh well, we will see.

I most definitely did not misplace them. They were lost before I even got to look at them...

 

So Eff me right. Same weekend, my Megadeth tix (3) were "misplaced" by the Orange Peel (local music venue) and I got refunded. I wanted to bury a hole and sleep in it. But as it goes, if Maiden comes back to the US, I WILL BE THERE. Last time I saw them, they said they werent coming back again, but I will always buy Maiden tix.

The show has been sold out for a almost two months now. I just didnt have time between work and school to make the 145min drive to pick them up. I should have paid for them to mail it to me but I didnt think it would be a problem. I even tried doing the local radio station phone gig. Called like 134523 times and I still didnt get the tickets on the radio. Im definitely going through every avenue to get them. I'll throw a doo doo storm just to get them to let me sneak in the back, I dont give a rhinos behind.

im confused were they lost in the mail? cause i thought will call is only available the day of the show? as long as you have an order confirmation/receipt i dont see why they wouldnt replace them, unless you lost them yourself which isnt the case. i would of raised hell until i got my tix. try craigslist as the show nears ive gotten a lot of tix that way for less than face value.

Thats true man. Craigslist usually comes in handy. People are just trying to get something for the tickets they haven't sold. And as for radio I tried that when Priest came and it was nothing but Bull$#%$. Some one once told me that those tickets are already given they just announce through radio to make everyone think they have a chance at them. Also my uncle was friends with the famous Godfather Joe Anthony (old disc jockey for San Antonio) so when a show would come up Joe Anthony would tell my uncle to call and once he knew it was my uncle that would call he would answer his phone call and ignore all other callers to give him the tickets. Its pretty awful but most just give the tickets to people they know screwing the other callers.

i could never buy tickets off a scalper in front of the venue so hopefully you can find a means of getting in

sold out for 2 months though

thats wild. how many people can this orange peel place hold? if all else fails check ticketmaster the morning of the concert i know sometimes tickets get put up last minute

To be completely honest, its amazing the Orange Peel can even hold a Megadeth show. Its 400 capacity. I used to go to shows in SD where the crowd was 5k plus... I preordered tix thanks to BCF and I was all good, just had to pick them up. But I got it in the backside because I was lazy on making the trip. Whats even more jacked is the fact that my coworker (the only other person who listens to metal is western north carolina besides me) won tickets off the phone... 2 of them. For him and his brother. FML!

He speaks the truth.  I saw this when I went to see Metallica. They had good seats the morning of the show.  All you gotta do is order them in the morning and get them at will call when you arrive.

This totaly makes up for the lack of shows here.  Maiden loves San Antonio which makes me like them more.  They always come here.  I remember when they came here two days in a row for the reunion tour Gimme Ed till I'm Dead tour.  It was Bruce's birthday for one of the shows.  With them coming I don't even need another group to come cause this is great.  Anyway Dream Theater is cool they put on a good live show its better than Lauren Harris.  By the way Physicx what fan club package are you going to get.  I'm still trying to figure out which one I'll get.  It would be cool to get the other stuff that comes with it but its a bit pricey.  Besides I heard you can get first chance at the barrier with that.  It would be cool to get a drumstick or picks being up close.

Hell yeah man it was awesome. Tell me about broke. My sister just told me that Flyleaf is coming with 3 Days Grace and the horrible 5 finger death punch and she wants to go see them. I promised her I would take her to see Flyleaf when they came but I never thought 5 finger would have opened up. I guess it came and bit me in the ***. I'm going to have to get the cheaper fan club package now for Maiden.

This is seriously the greatest day of my life. I couldn't make any of the shows last year cause I was out of option/personal days, and they didn't play anywhere near me on a weekend. This time around, they play on a Wednesday in Dallas, and then a Saturday in San Antonio. I'm thinkin I may just go to both! Thank God, I finally have a chance to see my favorite band of all time live!!!!
