The Combat Jack Show Thread

Joe really sees himself in J Cole. That's why he always super critical of him. He's picking apart this "rollout" like it's been billboards, videos and interviews.

I agree with him in the sense that he tried to build hype only to deliver what was an average song. Dude was making it seem like he was coming at somebody neck. He threw shots but we needed more. All in all it was an ok song.

I’m so sick of hearing the word rollout from them

nobody has ever said making a list and checking it twice as a threat

who’d have to be 5 to think real warfare would come from that

that’s a line synonymous with santa

cmon dog

Was he though? I don't remember seeing Cole sending out threats or anything.

Joe been has felt a way about Cole for years because Cole never gave him that verse. Joe was working on that collab mixtape a few years ago and got verses and hooks from everybody except Cole. Son was in his feelings on Twitter for weeks because of that lol. I think he scrapped the whole project because of that. :lol

I'm exaggerating but he dropped the snippet with that part highlighting making it sound like he was gonna come harder than what the track delivered. Track was ok and it felt like a let down. Leading to the whole rollout failing or not talk. I personally thought it was a let down.

Waaaaait WHAT?!?!?

That’s probably not the reason he scrapped it, but Yeah it was called Feature Presentation and son was hype he was getting all these features from everyone he reached out too. All his fans wanted a Cole feature but I guess Cole never got back to him. So for weeks Joe was just subbing him on his “these new cats too ***** to rap with the real rappers” type ish. Every time one of his fans would inquire about the Cole feature he’d respond like “he ***** or scary”

They definitely ruined the word rollout. Never even used it before listening to them.

I never listened to Tax outside of the podcast with Desus and Mero. He was trippin in that clip. Im guessing he didnt understand media training and all that.

Tax used into rants about what he gon do when he see certain dudes. He even told story about him and his people running up on OG Maco. That _ had that fresh outta prison "and I ain't scared to go back" mindset.

That mindset ****** him over. He'd have a deal by now. Any word on his sentencing? Haven't followed the case much. Can't find any info on how much time he's gonna serve.
