It is my personal belief that in general people who are different or people of color are typically judged differently. And often times don't get as many chances as the latter/norm. But as far as this topic goes, yeah he is being that extra parent for sure. I could see protecting your children but he is absolutely being extra and if he doesn't chill his kids will grow to be crazy. We all know how these people turn out .
General always makes it a race thing and it's the same people over and over if this was in S&T there would actually be some level headed talk
more than General and you know this soon as Weeknd avy shows up, it's a wrap and off the rails it goes
I just seeing people clowning really But it does come with this undertone of our reaction(s) to things that are different.
"There's a lot of pain behind those eyes" as if he knew he would eventually run into Stephen Jackson on a stage.
of course point the finger at me for the media and posters' biases i made this about race not the white writer paternalistically telling the dad to "shut up" not the fact that when white fathers do it theres not nearly this backlash its me
The NBA players werent rocking with Canada AT ALL back then, acting like they ready go hoop halfway around the world or something
This is exactly how I feel about it. He put the basketball in those boy's hands, and raised them to be in the position that they're currently in. If anybody has the right to mooch off the success of those boys it's him . The media is trying to spin his enthusiasm for his boys into something negative, and it's clearly working, because you got grown *** men hoping for the downfall of a talented 18 year old kid, just because his pops talks a little more than they'd like . All so they can say "I told you so, you were wrong, ha ha ha". Overly criticizing the game of a damn 15 year old.
Generics b, he come from that hoop bloodline. Funny story tho that pic was 7th grade, won my first championship and mvp that year. Wizards baby 15-1 on my al Bundy **** Funny too I wore #8 and she wore #24... meant to be #mambablood
I am def not mad at him. We just have not seen this end well not never. And it is strange that he can't see that. Or maybe he can?
I watch him shoot and I have no idea how that will translate in the NBA but he's athletic as all hell
Sorry but that is the world we live in, nearly everything as a racial aspect. As a person of color, you come to learn this. Who the hell is that setting Lonzo up? You're making no sense. Setting a high standard for your kid is bad now? If he doesn't reach it, people like you will point and laugh, that's the only consequence. And if I were Lonzo, LaVar or anyone else, I would say........ so what?
Hot take.....Lavar Ball is a genius Did a total 180 on dude over the past year. at Liangelo thinking he's going to be a 1 & done though......
