true for the most part but The Roots live shows are still some of the best shows ive attended.

honestly to the guy seeing metallica. if someone starts a pit, it's because they are being douchebags. most Metallica fans can't even walk withoutcanes anymore man.
and physics, you speak the truth, Municipal Waste is a fun thrash band. nothing beats blow up sharks and boogie boards in a circle pit haha.
but Converge has to have the scareiest pits I have ever seen outside of japan. Converge fans want nothing less than blood and when Jacob Bannon(lead singer)tells a guy he is gonna strangle him with the mic cord if he tugs it one more time, whilst weighing 100 pounds soaking wet, I have to believe they are forreal. amazing band none the less.

I cant stand some of the newer bands that only screams and play their music extremely loud.
The only newer metal bands I can stand is Lam of God, because their lyrics actually make sense.
but then again I dont know much about metal, but I know what is good music once I hear it.

This man speaks the truth. I'll listen to rap every now and then but Metal is near and dear to my heart and small venue concerts kick serious but. MoshPits are definitely appreciated. I just got tickets to the Rockstar Energy Mayhem festival so I will be expecting to be in one of these.

Maybe I am old fashion, but if you want to run into...elbow...and then punch your friend in the face...why don't you do it in your living room...FOR FREE! I prefer to go the a concert and, well...watch the band and listen to the music...
Funny thing is that I went to a Chris Cornell concert last week, and even during Rusty Cage their was no pit...strange...but, nice...love to be at a concert that is full of true fans and not people there because it is a "scene"

I love me a good rock show but I hate all these people with their hardcore dancing ALL THE TIME and just pushing just to push. Hardcore dancing is cool duringbreakdowns and what not but not during every part of every song.

thats not fun at all. brass knuckles aint cool. you know what happens to people who get caught using brass knuckles? they get jumped and getbeaten half to death. I never experience it before but my friend who used to intern for island records been to numberous concerts seen this many times, peepswho bring weapons in to venues get destroyed.
and I hate people moshing. especially when you areand al you want todo is relax and listen to good music then people gotta give you problems.

2 GUYS EVEN RAN UP ON STAGE DURING THAT SONG AND GRABBED MUSTAINE TO TAKE A FREAKIN PICTURE!!!!
i think one of them managed to grab a hold of his guitar
needless to say, i heard they got their %!!*+ kicked
mustaine left the stage right after that happened. then almost everyone else. chris broderick was the only one left on stage. once the song was finished heleft too
they did come back after like 10 min, obviously disappointed, but %!@! man

I like both those groups Metallica a tad bit more because they were the first group I ever listened to but Pantera used to beat the crap out of Metallica whenit came to live shows. I'm glad to say I got to see Pantera before they disbanded and man they were crazily awesome. Pits were crazy and everyone was intoit. They involved the fans a lot just check out some of those home videos. The thing with Metallica concerts is a lot of the people that go aren't metalfans but just fans of the band itself so you have all kinds of people going. A friend of mine told me some people sit down and wait for Enter Sandman to playthen they leave. Thats just rediculous. Iron Maiden can throw a insane concert, you wouldn't expect moshing but for 50 year old dudes they still kick butt.As for Municipal Waste Physicx knows whats up. Slayer, Napalm Death, Testament, Cannibal Corpse are also great to see live. There is just to many groups toname.
