If my 17s looked like those I'd probably like the BBs better too. I wanna say yours are fake but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you just got a bad pair, a really bad pair. I seem to remember some of the anniversaries having that problem.

Definitely see your point on shape delta in these pics. For me, I can appreciate both (I don't have the '17s though). If the BB is true to the OG at that time, I like it that way, but if I had to choose just based on aesthetics (assuming comfort is the same), it would be tough, but your '17s there would probably win. For some of the pics previously, definitely not a fan. Famous Nike QC at work again.

Crazy to see QC variances these days. Took a break from kicks for a number of years and coming back I can’t imagine the disappointment of hitting on SNKRS (especially on even harder releases than the BB) to get a lemon pair and no replacement.

I doubled up on BB. One pair had a left shoe with a SLIGHT discolor in the mesh in the toe. I could tell after a couple wears it would blend as the pure white fades. (From Bait) on my second pair (shock drop) the right toe had slight creasing in the mesh, not as bad as others here. I’m lucky if it were any worse for either of these I’d be returning. But they were subtle enough where I just unDSd the combo immediately. Already a slight flaw? Less babying from day 1 and encouraging me to actually wear em.

Hoping this encourages others to just throw them on if the flaws are passable or subtle. And hope for those where they aren’t, get a replacement

BB aren't even close to Anni's but it's a different shoe. Me personally, I'm a fan of the toebox and whole silhouette, especially that beautiful big bubble. It's an original design and I'm happy they're (NIKE) running out of ideas to release them.

The more I see top down pics of the 86 and look at my own pair on feet I appreciate them more and more. Because these are one of my 2017s that I hate having that bulge on the side when I look down at them. Love them from the side, hate looking down.

They fit the exact same as the re-crafts from 2020. I feel as though 97’s run big.. I would go half a size up from your normal 97 size.

My experience is different. I wear 9.5 in AM1 (including BB, though I have a 11W), 10 in AM3 / 2020 AM90, 10 in AM95, and 10 in AM97. But that’s me.

Got my bbs in yesterday. Definitely more room in the toe compared to 17s. I can feel a difference in comfort. It’s not huge, but you can feel it.

I like the comfort and actually the look too of the bbs more. I wasn’t expecting too, but something about it. On foot it looks even more retro.
