Really simple and straightforward. Wouldn't be surprised if that is his dream. Something he's basically done after every arc/saga just on a bigger scale cuz he's gonna have to run through the world gov, the celestial dragons, reveal what all the poneglyphs say, fulfill Joyboy's promises, communicate with the voice of all things, handle the ancient weapons, and take care of hating *** Blackbeard first.
Also the back half of that theory is a perfect reason for why Yamato is the next member of the Strawhats.

Clinching so close to the end I always feel I need something more, a sort of aftermath, not like the end end. Even three chapters seems too few!!! but I'm guessing Isayama is going to end it with a boom!
