It's quite possibly the slowest time of the sports year for a guy like me. Training camp for the NFL isn't that big of a deal to me, I'm not a huge football guy, and the Niners have been a train wreck recently. Baseball isn't my sport, and basketball is in the toilet right now. Sorry for being happy to see one of the best golfers I'll ever see.
At the British, all anyone was talking about was Rory, and even though he underperformed to what ESPN wanted to see from him, it was still an enjoyable tournament to some degree because of the prestige of the British Open. A few weeks before the last major of the season, we get Tiger back.
I'm sorry for being excited about it.
Maybe it's just me, but Scott had a hell of a lot of confidence today.
Oh no doubt
I was just talkin in general, it's all good my bad. Hey i enjoy watchin Woods every tournament (and will watch this wknd). I just think if this latest Woods comeback is under the radar nationally (for how under the radar Woods can get I mean) it's probably not a bad thing and shows maybe people aren't sheep to national media's obsession with creating these god awful story lines with Woods instead of just letting the dude play and let's cool it until he wins something big again. Hey Tom Rinaldi, please move aside Tiger needs to shoot now.
