The Official NBA Thread: LeBron James signs with the Philadelphia 76ers

That contract (plus whenever Harden signs) along with both of their continued putrid playoff performances never mind that Mitchell quote, after watching the Last Dance I fully understand the moves Reinsdorf and Krause made from the front office perspective . But good for him getting what he signed for as the player as I am always pro player.

It’s obvious LeBron is going to the Cavs and I wouldn’t waste my time sitting around and hoping if I was another team (Gs, Min, Den). I would’ve just signed Rui

The numbers on Donovan Mitchell’s contract extension:Year 1: $60.9MYear 2: $65.8MYear 3: $70.6MYear 4: $75.5M 🤯

Crazy to think one of these young guys gonna crack 100 mill a season.

MJ career earnings- $93,877,500

$63 million of that was in just two seasons (30 in 1997, 33 in 1998 ). It's one of the reasons the 1998 lockout happened and the league introduced max contracts.

Bron on minny just makes sense in my mind
It’s a good basketball fit, but Bron might not love the idea of finishing his career in a city he’s never lived before and that has pretty rough weather during much of the NBA season. Plus, if he goes East, he gets to avoid having to deal OKC and SAS.

Facts. Given all the JB hate lately is he even better than him?
Think they’re pretty comparable, but it’s the exact contract Brad didn’t want to give to a B-tier guy who will be in their mid 30s.

Will be interesting to see what both teams look like in a few years.

Factoring durability and 2 way play... give me JB.
