At the very least, people will remember this post.

Gobert really has to over help every time cause everyone around him but Royce cant stay in front of their man.

He has to help then close out on the defender. Team needs to address their perimeter D as a whole its not just rudy not being able to defend perimeter defenders. The whole team can’t stay in front of anyone and their only defense is to make them finish over rudy whos parked in the paint.

Just look at this BS. Let PG get a straight line drive to the rim. Gobert rotates then has to close out on Mann in the corner. It’s a team problem gobert being gone won’t fix ****.

GUARD SKILLS.

Everyone says this when reports of official Ben packages since the season has started have been scarce and the Sixers are in 6th but 2.5GB from first with Lavine (Tied for #1 Bulls) and KD out/Myrie playing part time (#3 Nets). The success of their season will be the same without Benjamin or with the pieces from a lowball trade offer.
Being only 2 games back is good, but is there a piece out there that will make them contenders though. Right now they are not.
jazz goofed
jacked up threes like they were down a whole bunch of points

but that's their gameplan

lakers are woke now and starting to turn this season around. bron clicking and his supporting cast improving. AD coming back soon as well
Not sure if serious but they just got blown out by 37. Hardly think they are "woke" now.

Russ had to wipe the black ice off his hands after touching Bron's head.

That was the spin, but those two don't prevent the other team from getting by Conley/Mitchell/Clarkson/Ingles/Bogey.
This is the problem more than Rudy. Their whole defensive game plan is to make them beat Rudy at the rim or take the middy. They play one way on offense and one way on defense . The jazz are cooked.

Did his ex-teammate dirty

Yeah...but in last night's case it doesn't even seem like the wings getting beat at the PoA, leaving Rudy's man wide open while he has to protect the rim was the issue.

Terrance Mann in Game 6 made 7 wide open threes. Stanley Johnson made 1 last night. He was cookin Gobert off the dribble and Snyder just left him in there to die for what?

Rudy Gay shot the ball terribly last night and still wasn't a -10

I take my chances with Gay or Paschall there.

This is peak nastiness here by Gobert. Despite getting cooked all quarter...Lebron gives Stanley a screen for some odd reason so he can get Clarkson on a switch. This is a play in Gobert's favor here because all he has to do is just protect the rim on the help. Doesn't even pretend to contest and it's like he got stuck in quicksand. It's not like he's concerned by Lebron because he doesn't even pretend to acknowledge him.

The Pistons' package of Grant, Saddiq Bey, Kelly Olynyk and a first-round pick, for example, was not met with much enthusiasm by Philadelphia brass, league sources told B/R.
The frenzy comes one year after Pistons general manager Troy Weaver swiftly declined any inquiry about Grant's availability after the forward surprisingly chose Detroit in free agency. Sources say Detroit is now asking for two first-round picks or one first-round pick plus a high-upside young player.
Several league personnel view Washington as a favorite to land Grant. He hails from the D.C. area, his father Harvey played for the franchise from 1988-93 and again from 1996-98. The Wizards' first-year head coach Wes Unseld Jr. also coached Grant as an assistant with the Nuggets.
The Lakers' interest in Grant appears to be just that. A package of Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn likely won't pique Detroit's interest in this competitive market. Same for the Jazz, whose best offer featured Joe Ingles' expiring $12.4 million salary and a future first-round pick. Boston showed initial intrigue in Grant, but the Celtics were recently categorized to B/R as an unlikely destination.

For Minnesota, only second-year forward Jaden McDaniels would be considered a young prospect to flip. The Timberwolves have all their first-round picks, and as B/R previously reported, Malik Beasley is known around the league as Minnesota's expendable piece for salary-matching purposes.

Memphis has been a popular speculative trade partner for Detroit. Grant's fit alongside Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks, Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. is obvious, but the Grizzlies are not expected to make a serious run at him at this time.
Which brings us to the mighty Chicago Bulls. Currently holding the top seed in the East, Chicago still has one potential all-in move up its sleeve, as injured second-year forward Patrick Williams has a mountain of trade value despite being out for the season with a dislocated wrist.

The connections between Williams and Detroit are deep, as are the connections between Grant and Chicago. Williams was the Pistons' top 2020 NBA draft target at No. 7 before Chicago selected the Florida product at No. 4, and Weaver was known as a huge supporter.

The Bulls have three strong connections to Grant. General manager Marc Eversley overlapped with Grant in Philadelphia, head coach Billy Donovan coached Grant in Oklahoma City, and executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas was part of the Nuggets' brain trust that acquired Grant from the Thunder.
